Jesus is Alive

Ava learned the story of Easter at school and I tried to get her to tell me about it on camera. She did pretty well until the end- she got too excited and hit the table. It sounds like a huge bonk, but she was okay moments later.

Easter 2009

For Easter, we hit the early service at church instead of our normal mid-morning time in order to make it to Honey's for brunch. We were treated to homemade Eggs Benedict which was very fabulous. We spent the rest of the afternoon talking and drinking Mimosas, waiting for our hearts to stop. A perfect way to celebrate the Resurrection.
