Ava, as usual, has been into EVERYTHING. She is just starting (at 17 months) to be more interested in toys than in non-toys- but her favorite thing currently... SHOES. If you leave them out (which we always do) she is in them. She thinks she is SO BIG and is super-cute. Which she is.

Her second favorite thing remains the cup drawer- the bottom drawer in our kitchen with all of the kids' cups in it. She drags those out at least 3 times a day and sits inside the drawer at least that much.

Third- the stacking toy hand-me-down from Sam.

Sam Turns FOUR

Sam turned 4 on February 28. We celebrated all week long! Jason was in Boca Raton, Florida at a conference, so Mom, Sam and Ava spent all week playing and baking. On Tuesday, Sam had his birthday party at school. He requested, for the second year in a row, pink cupcakes, since pink is his current favorite color.


Cousins Jamie and Maria came over to Honey's house on Friday night for dinner (along with the rest of the clan that was in-town). Sam requested Mexican Food and Honey came through with a fantastic dinner- bean dip and guacamole, Spinach and Beef Enchiladas, Chili Relenos, and Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting for dessert. YUM! As usual, we were quick to scoop up all of the leftovers so Cheri has less cooking to do this week.
