Baby's First Pictures

Okay- so perhaps his second set of pictures, but since I didn't get the first set uploaded, this would be his first published set. Here is that Baby D profile that shows up in all of the ultrasounds...
Bottom shot is of Baby Boy's bottom- the tech said if he is not a boy to please call her since she was "99% certain" of his gender. The little air bubble thing up in his body is his bladder. This will be the only naked shot that makes the blogspot; sorry to Baby Boy for this indignity.
**Pictures deleted.

The Newest Baby

Is...
Perfect. 10 fingers, 10 toes, 4 heart chambers, a beautiful string of pearls spine.

He will have his first picture scanned onto the blog soon.

His due date remains August 24, 2008; growing right on schedule and weighing in at a hefty 14 ounces.

We are THRILLED to be expecting another son!

Out of the Mouths of Babes

Sam was looking for his Star Gun last night while getting a quick play time outside (it was cold and getting dark). This would be a pistol-style gun with a star on it, not the 'rifle' style gun was photographed with (will post pict later). He said "Mom- help me find my star gun!" to which I replied "I am making dinner, Sam, I can help you in a while." About 2 minutes later I hear Sam again in a panicked voice "Mom! I can't hear God!" I said "Well, son, it's probably because you are being too loud. You need to settle down and listen harder to hear God's voice." I turned around and then turned back to see him leaning with his forehead up against the countertop saying, quietly, "God, please tell me where my Star Gun is."

Pretty cute. I found the gun later, in his pit- I mean - room.

Halfway Point

After several requests for a belly shot, this is as good as it is going to get. We are half way there! I go back to the doc in a couple of weeks for another weigh-in-- um-- I mean- check-up.

Sick Sam

You know this kid isn't feeling well when he is wearing pajamas in the middle of the day AND he falls asleep in his dad's arms. That hasn't happened in years! It was 'just a virus'. I keep telling him that you catch everything when you bite your fingernails. He doesn't get it.
This was a week ago. He is better now.

Easter Egg Hunt

Cousins Maria and Jamie joined us after their Easter Brunch for an Easter Egg Hunt at our house. The pictures from last year- the kids are all in capris and short sleeved shirts- so as you can tell, it was significantly colder this year. This picture is about as good as it gets for all 4 kiddos in one frame. As it should be (since he is the youngest), Jamie is the weakest link.
Here come the girls with baskets in hand. We had separate areas for them- away from Super Sam. He requires extra hiding.
Here is Jamie thinking "why is that crazy lady taking my picture again?" He had a cold and would not even consider smiling for me. Maybe next time.
The girls in their matching Dollar Store jewelry.
Sam gets down to business... he ate enough candy to go into a sugar coma. After everyone left, the whole family slept for 3 hours (well, 3 hours kids, 1.5 hours adults). Every Easter should be this relaxing.
